As the weather starts cooling down and the year turns its last corner, it just feels like time for a day trip or a festival or 
guided walking tour! I start scanning the paper for possibilities from the Preservation Society's perennial Fall Tour of Homes and Gardens to the Heritage Jubilee in Edgefield or the Moncks Corner Corn Maze. SCIway maintains a community calendar for the whole state, and in October opportunities abound! Enjoy!
